small izakaya

Another photo from 2006 Kyoto trip... This is a typical Japanese izakaya (居酒屋). Very small. what you see in the picture is pretty much the entire space inside this tiny restaurant, only seats about 7 customers. But very relaxed environment and good food indeed. Just exactly like what I saw in those Japanese dramas!
